Before I describe the faces of the prophets and messengers that I saw in my vision, I must remind you that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw our master Jesus, peace be upon him, in two different forms, and they were mentioned in two authentic prophetic hadiths. In his description of our master Jesus, peace be upon him, during the Night Journey, he described him as being reddish and white, while the Prophet described him in the vision in which the Antichrist was present as being dark-skinned, meaning very dark-skinned.
It is possible that the change in the color of the face of a single prophet is related to the condition of the dreamer or the condition of the dream itself.
As for how I know the names of the prophets and messengers during visions, either one of the people in the vision says to me, “This is the prophet or messenger,” or the messenger or prophet introduces himself to me, or it occurs to me in my heart and soul during the vision that he is the prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or that he is our master Moses, for example.
We come to the description of the Prophet, the Messengers, and others whom I saw in my dreams during the different stages of my life.
In middle and high school during the years 1989 to 1992, I was very religious during this stage and I had several attempts to wage jihad in Chechnya, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kashmir, but I failed in those attempts. God Almighty blessed me with many visions in which I saw our master Jesus, peace be upon him, in many visions. For your information, he is the prophet I have seen the most visions of until now, and I cannot count them. The facial features were clear in these visions, as his face was white tending towards red. I saw our master Abu Bakr, and his features were clear. He was also white and had a small mouth, but I do not remember the features of his face now. I saw our master Ali, may God be pleased with him, and his face was extremely beautiful and his color was white. At the end of that stage, I saw the Prophet in two visions in 1992. In the first vision, the facial features were clear and his color was white, but I do not remember the features of the face now because many years have passed since this vision. Then the visions became few because I was busy with the burdens of life during my joining the military college and working as an officer. In the army, I had sporadic visions during that period, but they were few.
The number of visions began to increase after my sit-in during the Mohamed Mahmoud events in 2011, when I saw the Prophet for the third time. This was after a long time had passed since the first and second visions in 1992, when I saw a woman carrying a very plump and beautiful-faced child and she said to me, “This is the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so carry him.” So I carried him and hugged him tightly. The features of the Prophet’s face, peace and blessings be upon him, during his childhood were very clear to me.
During imprisonment, I saw our master Joseph, and he was very handsome. However, I also saw him while he was imprisoned. His clothes were tattered, and his hair was long and soft, but not combed. His condition was pitiful.
After my release from prison, I have seen the Prophet about eight times so far in different positions. Once I found him in the grave in the Sayyida Zaynab Mosque, another time I found him in a shroud, another time I found him prostrating at the time of the Day of Judgment, and another time I saw him but his features were not clear, as the light of his face overshadowed his facial details. The only time I focused on his facial features and they were clear was in my first vision in 1992, and they matched the hadiths describing the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
I have seen our master Moses three times so far and I did not pay attention to his facial features or I forgot them after I woke up from the visions, but I saw him in the visions as being tall and this is what I remember in these visions.
I saw our master Job, our master John, our master Solomon, our master Jesus, and our master Abraham, peace be upon them, but the features of their faces in the vision were not clear or I forgot them after I woke up because I was concentrating on the content of the vision and not the faces of the messengers.
I saw the People of the Cave, but I saw them in the shroud, so I did not examine the features of their faces under the shroud.
I saw the Virgin Mary but I did not pay close attention to her facial features.
I saw Lady Aisha, may God be pleased with her, and she was very old and tall, but I still remember her facial features clearly, and I may forget them with the passage of time.
I have seen our master Gabriel three times so far. The first time he was in the form of a man with two small wings behind his back. His entire body, clothes and wings were white tending towards beige. His clothes were full of pockets from top to bottom and I remember his face well until now. The second time I saw a part of him on his left side and it was very bright and had an innumerable number of wings. The third time I saw him in the form of an ordinary man from a distance and I did not focus on his facial features.
For your information, it is possible to see our master Gabriel in the form of an ordinary human being. The companions saw him and sat with them while they were awake in the famous hadith when the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked several questions in front of the companions, may God be pleased with them.
I will share this article when a friend asks me to describe the prophet I saw in my dreams. For your information, I am not the type who knows how to describe the faces I remember. The only way I know how to describe the faces of people I have seen is to say that so-and-so's face resembles so-and-so's. Show me pictures of people and I can tell you that Lady Aisha's face, for example, resembles this woman's. However, describing her face in detail is beyond my ability.
