Why don’t people think about what will happen to them on the Day of Judgment, even though everything that will happen on this great day is mentioned in the Quran, and all arguments will be rejected, and no one will be of any benefit to anyone, and no one will bear your mistakes on this day?
All the dialogue between the oppressors and their followers on the Day of Resurrection is mentioned in more than one verse, and people read it all the time, but people forget or deliberately forget.
God Almighty said: (And they will all appear before God, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, “Indeed, we were your followers, so can you relieve us of any of the punishment of God?” They will say, “If God had guided us, we would have guided you. It is the same for us whether we are impatient or patient. There is no escape for us.”)
God Almighty said: (On the Day their faces will be turned over in the Fire, they will say, “If only we had obeyed God and obeyed the Messenger.” And they will say, “Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the way. Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse.”)
God Almighty said: “And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, returning their words to one another. Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, ‘If it were not for you, we would have been believers.’ Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, ‘Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals.’ And those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, ‘Rather, it was [your] plotting by night and by day when you ordered us to disbelieve in God and attribute to Him equals.’ And they will conceal their regret when they see the punishment, and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieve. Are they recompensed except for what they used to do?”
