And remember when Moses said to his people, “O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you when He appointed among you prophets and made you kings and gave you that which He had not given to anyone else in the worlds.”
O people, enter the Holy Land which God has written for you, and do not turn back and become losers.
They said, "O Moses, indeed there are in it a people of tyrants. We will not enter it until they leave it. But if they leave it, then we will enter."
Two men of those who feared, upon whom Allah had bestowed His favor, said, “Enter upon them through the gate, for when you enter it, you will be victorious. And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers.”
They said, "O Moses, we will never enter it as long as they are within it. So go, you and your Lord, and fight. We will remain right here."
He said: My Lord, I have no power over anyone except myself and my brother, so separate us from the wicked people.
He said: It is forbidden to them for forty years while they wander the earth. So do not grieve over the wicked people.

God Almighty is true

The Qur’an contains news of those who came before us and a message to us Muslims. The story of Moses, the Children of Israel, and Pharaoh is the story mentioned most in detail in the Holy Qur’an. This is not a coincidence, but rather it is a message directed to us Muslims that what happened to the Children of Israel will happen to us again. And here we are repeating the story of the Children of Israel now. So when will we wake up from our negligence?

God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.
