Many still believe that I am a savior and accuse me of this as a result of a ridiculous rumor in a country full of rumors that the general public believes without checking their accuracy.
In Egypt, whoever is accused of spreading a rumor is required to prove his innocence due to the nature of this people who believe any rumor, no matter how far this rumor has any connection to reality.
That's why I say
First: I was sentenced to four years in prison as a result of my joining the revolution in the Mohamed Mahmoud events of 2011. I served one year of that and was released in January 2013. I am still in prison and the sentence has not been cancelled yet. I have also not been assigned to units of the armed forces. In other words, my position is suspended and the matter has not been decided yet. So how can I be a security officer?
Second: I was supposed to be promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel since January 2013, but I have not been promoted yet.
Third: If those who believe any rumor had searched for my articles prior to June 30, they would have been absolutely certain that I am not a savior.
