Our national team plays in the land of jihad and heroism, the land of Muslim Chechnya.

Always remember that our national team plays in the land of jihad and heroism.
Muslim land of Chechnya

The Chechen people are a Muslim people who love their religion. They are known for their strength, endurance, and high national and patriotic spirit, which knows no defeat, collapse, or surrender. They have been a people of challenges since before the era of Stalin and up until the days of the current Russian president.
The Russian-Chechen conflict is a long, bloody conflict that has continued unabated for more than 200 years. The first clash between the Russians and Chechens occurred in 1722 AD, and a series of battles began in 1785 AD under the leadership of Imam Mansur. This resistance and battles continued until the mid-nineteenth century. Imam Mansur was captured in 1791 AD and held in a Russian fortress until his death. Several revolts followed, each of which was suppressed.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the famous Chechen leader Dzhokhar Dudayev declared the independence of Chechnya, which sparked a fierce war between the Russians and the Chechens. The military force at that time was led by Commander Samer bin Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Suwailem (a Saudi national), nicknamed Commander “Khattab” from 1994 to 1997. Khattab had a special policy that he followed since he was in Afghanistan. He kept himself away from any form of disagreement that occurred between the factions of the Mujahideen there, and worked to focus on the jihad against the Russians, and he excelled in that until the Russians became exhausted, and they were unable to arrest him due to his extreme intelligence and quick movements, so they resorted, as is their custom, to treachery and betrayal, and they took advantage of one of the weak-willed traitors, and gave him a forged letter from one of the leaders of the Chechen Mujahideen to give to the leader “Khattab”, and the letter contained an advanced type of deadly poison that kills by touch.. When “Khattab” opened the letter and held the paper in his hand, the poison seeped into his body, and he died, may God have mercy on him, on the 8th of Safar 1423 AH, corresponding to the 20th of April 2002 AH.
Then the war resumed in 1999, and since then the resistance movement has taken on a more Islamic character, with the mujahideen seeking to establish an Islamic state in the Caucasus region (Chechnya, Ingushetia, and Dagestan).

Although the war ended in 2000, the resistance began launching more intense attacks against the occupation, extending to other regions in the Caucasus. Over the past few years, resistance attacks have reached the heart of Russia, while mujahideen have also attacked local government and police personnel for their loyalty to Moscow.
We must not forget Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev, who forced the Russian president to stand before him for negotiations or else there would be no negotiations. He was later assassinated in Qatar after his car was blown up as he left the mosque.

In this regard, the American writer Leslie Blatch, in describing the Chechen fighters in the “First Caucasian War” in her book (Swords of Paradise) - referring to the swords of the Chechen mujahideen - says: “The war of the disciples is the era of Islamic law that he revived and imposed in the North Caucasus, and used it as a resource against the Russian invasion. It is a war in which Shamil’s soldiers participated for the sake of God and for freedom, and they marched to fight the Russians while reciting the Holy Quran and their religious hymns, and their swords were for them the keys to Paradise.”

Note: I was in high school during the Chechen war and tried to travel to jihad there at the same time as my attempts to jihad in Bosnia, but all of these attempts failed. Therefore, the two countries that have a special place in my heart are Bosnia and Chechnya, because I witnessed the massacres that were committed against them, and if these massacres were to happen again in our current time, I would also try to travel to jihad there to help my Muslim brothers, hoping to win martyrdom.
I feel sorry for those who follow the news of our national team in Chechnya and do not know the history of this land.
Perhaps this article will reveal to you the truth about the Muslims who are receiving the national team in Grozny and the secret behind their support for our Egyptian national team.
