N\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb, Egjipti ishte pre e revoltave t\u00eb brendshme midis sekteve t\u00eb ndryshme, nga mamluk\u00ebt turq te sudanez\u00ebt dhe maroken\u00ebt. Kur kryqtar\u00ebt m\u00ebsuan p\u00ebr mb\u00ebrritjen e Asad ad-Din Shirkuh, ata u larguan nga Egjipti dhe Asad ad-Din hyri n\u00eb t\u00eb. Pas vdekjes s\u00eb Kalifit Fatimid Al-Adid n\u00eb vitin 566 AH \/ 1171 pas Krishtit, Saladini i nxiti dijetar\u00ebt t\u00eb shpallnin Kalifin Al-Mustadi Al-Abbasi, t\u00eb luteshin p\u00ebr t\u00eb t\u00eb premteve dhe t\u00eb mbanin predikime n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb tij nga minberet. K\u00ebshtu, Kalifati Fatimid n\u00eb Egjipt mori fund dhe Saladini sundoi Egjiptin si p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsues i Nur al-Din, i cili p\u00ebrfundimisht njohu Kalifatin Abaside. Egjipti u kthye p\u00ebrs\u00ebri n\u00eb gjirin e Kalifatit Islamik dhe Saladini u b\u00eb sundimtar i Egjiptit, pa askush tjet\u00ebr q\u00eb t\u00eb kishte fjal\u00ebn e tij n\u00eb t\u00eb.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Themelimi i shtetit<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Nur ad-Din Mahmud ishte ende gjall\u00eb dhe Saladini kishte frik\u00eb se mos Nur ad-Dini do ta luftonte, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb mendoi t\u00eb k\u00ebrkonte nj\u00eb vend tjet\u00ebr p\u00ebr t\u00eb themeluar nj\u00eb shtet p\u00ebr vete. Saladini filloi q\u00eb her\u00ebt t\u00eb d\u00ebrgonte disa nga shoq\u00ebruesit e tij p\u00ebr t\u00eb hetuar situat\u00ebn n\u00eb Nubi, Jemen dhe Barka.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Nur ad-Din Mahmud vdiq n\u00eb Shawwal n\u00eb vitin 569 AH \/ 1174 pas Krishtit, dhe situata filloi t\u00eb qet\u00ebsohej p\u00ebr Saladinin, i cili filloi t\u00eb punonte p\u00ebr t\u00eb bashkuar Egjiptin dhe Levantin. Saladini filloi t\u00eb drejtohej drejt Levantit pas vdekjes s\u00eb Nur ad-Dinit. Autoriteti i Saladinit u zgjerua n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb vendin, duke u shtrir\u00eb nga Nubia n\u00eb jug dhe Kirenaika n\u00eb per\u00ebndim deri n\u00eb tokat e armen\u00ebve n\u00eb veri dhe Xhazira dhe Mosuli n\u00eb lindje.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Saladini dhe Xhihadi<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Saladini, Zoti e m\u00ebshiroft\u00eb, ishte i mbushur me dashuri p\u00ebr xhihadin dhe i apasionuar pas tij. Kjo dashuri ia p\u00ebrfshiu t\u00ebr\u00eb qenien, aq sa Imam Dhehebiu tha p\u00ebr t\u00eb n\u00eb Al-Seer: \u201cAi kishte nj\u00eb pasion p\u00ebr themelimin e xhihadit dhe eliminimin e armiqve, t\u00eb till\u00eb q\u00eb nuk ishin d\u00ebgjuar kurr\u00eb p\u00ebr ask\u00ebnd n\u00eb bot\u00eb.\u201d<br class=\"html-br\" \/>P\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb arsye, Zoti e m\u00ebshiroft\u00eb, ai braktisi familjen, f\u00ebmij\u00ebt dhe vendin e tij. Ai nuk kishte asnj\u00eb prirje tjet\u00ebr p\u00ebrve\u00e7se ndaj tij dhe asnj\u00eb dashuri p\u00ebrve\u00e7 njer\u00ebzve t\u00eb tij. Gjykat\u00ebsi Baha\u2019 al-Din thot\u00eb: \u201cKur nj\u00eb njeri donte t\u2019i afrohej, ai e nxiste t\u00eb luftonte n\u00eb xhihad. N\u00ebse ai betohej se nuk kishte shpenzuar asnj\u00eb dinar ose dirham pasi ishte nisur p\u00ebr xhihad p\u00ebrve\u00e7se p\u00ebr xhihad ose p\u00ebr furnizime, betimi i tij do t\u00eb ishte i v\u00ebrtet\u00eb dhe i zbatuesh\u00ebm.\u201d<br class=\"html-br\" \/>\u00c7do njeri ka nj\u00eb shqet\u00ebsim, dhe shqet\u00ebsimi i nj\u00eb njeriu \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00eb p\u00ebrpjes\u00ebtim me shqet\u00ebsimet e tij. \u00cbsht\u00eb sikur Ibn el-Kajimi, Zoti e m\u00ebshiroft\u00eb, po e p\u00ebrshkruante Salahudin kur tha: &quot;Lumturia nuk arrihet p\u00ebrmes lumturis\u00eb. Komunikimet e Mbret\u00ebris\u00eb Latine t\u00eb Jerusalemit me Evrop\u00ebn u nd\u00ebrpren\u00eb dhe n\u00eb gjysm\u00ebn e dyt\u00eb t\u00eb shtatorit 1187 pas Krishtit, forcat e Saladinit rrethuan Jerusalemin.
