When one mentions the achievements of our former rulers, one must also mention their faults
When one of us mentions the faults of our former rulers, we must also mention their achievements.

Here is Nasser and what he has and what he doesn't have

What's his:
1- The conclusion of the Evacuation Agreement with Britain in 1954, under which the last British soldier was evacuated from the Suez Canal and all of Egypt on 18 June 1956.
2- A major economic and industrial renaissance, after the state started a new trend towards controlling the sources and means of production.
3- Expanding free education at all levels, paying attention to building schools and hospitals, and providing job opportunities for the people
4- He nationalised the Suez Canal to become an Egyptian joint stock company
5- He built the High Dam, which is considered his most important and greatest achievement
6- The first attempt at an Arab union between Syria and Egypt, which did not last more than three years under the name of the United Arab Republic amid international and Arab conspiracies to abort it.
7- He founded the Non-Aligned Organisation with Yugoslavian President Tito, Indonesian President Sukarno and Indian President Nehru.
8) The promulgation of land reform laws and the definition of agricultural ownership, under which Egypt's peasants for the first time owned the land they cultivated and worked on
9- Building a strong army and attempting to manufacture missiles and aircraft with Egyptian hands
10- Egypt had prestige before the world and independence in decision-making
11- Helped several countries gain independence, most notably Algeria


What it is:
1- Establishing the concept of Arab nationalism at the expense of the concept of the Islamic nation
2- Harassment of Islamists of all affiliations (Ikhwan, Azhari, Salafists)
3- Destroying political life in Egypt by cancelling parties and prosecuting opposition voices by arresting or sometimes killing them
4) The harassment of President Mohamed Naguib, who wanted to establish a democratic state
4- Egypt's involvement in a civil war in Yemen that drained Egypt's energy at a time when it needed it most
5- The great sin of the '67 setback, which resulted in a new equation of power in the region that we are still suffering from today

Finally, I say that Nasser is gone and is now with his Lord to be judged, and he alone is able to forgive him if he sinned or admit him to his paradise if he so chooses.
