Several friends advised me to go to the Al-Azhar Research Complex to submit my book of theses for discussion and approval.
I believe that everyone who gave me this advice did not read my book and does not know the seriousness of its content. My book discusses with evidence the error of many beliefs that have been deeply rooted in our minds for centuries and have been taught in our schools and universities for decades, including:
1- Our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is only the Seal of the Prophets, as mentioned in the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah, and not the Seal of the Messengers.
2- The status of prophethood is higher than the status of messengership, and not the other way around, as is commonly known among scholars.
3- The error of the famous and well-known rule among scholars (that every messenger is a prophet).
4- The hadith of Al-Mukhtar bin Falfel is not authentic: \u201cThe message and prophecy have been cut off, so there is no messenger after me.\u201d
5- The interpretation of the ambiguous verses of the Qur\u2019an will be during the era of a future Messenger.
6- The splitting of the moon did not occur during the era of our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. Rather, it is a warning of an impending torment that will occur in the future, and it will most likely be a sign of the truthfulness of a coming Messenger.
7- The Messenger mentioned in Surat Al-Bayyinah is most likely Jesus, peace be upon him, and not Muhammad, peace be upon him.
8- The verse of the clear smoke did not occur during the era of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but rather it will occur in the future, and the clear messenger mentioned in Surat Ad-Dukhan is not our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
9- The Mahdi will be a messenger and not just a just ruler.
10- Our Master Jesus, peace be upon him, will return as a ruling prophet, not just a ruler.
These are some of the important points my book addresses, supported by evidence from the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah. Do you think that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif will agree to all of these points and change all the curricula taught in schools and universities, change the religious sermons delivered in mosques, and change the current Quranic interpretations for the sake of my book (The Awaited Letters) alone, which was written by an ordinary person like me who is not an Al-Azhar graduate?
I believe that changing these beliefs requires the issuance of numerous books and fatwas by prominent scholars over a long period of time, commensurate with the centuries-old entrenchment of these beliefs. This cannot be achieved through a single book by a man like me, which would be approved in a short period of time and with the utmost ease.
