Within hours, the two books of the awaited messages will be published and distributed.
This book took about six months to write, and during that time I hesitated a lot and stopped writing it several times because of its unconventional religious views that contradict centuries-old beliefs. Therefore, I expect that only a very few people will grasp them, and it will take a long time for people to understand this book. Therefore, I did not want to continue writing it.
I prayed Istikhara and supplicated to Allah (SWT) several times while writing this book, asking Him to guide me to the path I should choose: should I keep quiet and keep the knowledge I have gained to myself, or should I continue writing the book and spread the knowledge I have gained among people? But every time I prayed Istikhara to Allah (SWT) about continuing with this book, I saw a vision or heard a Quranic verse on the Quran Radio that made me continue writing this book, even though I was fully aware of the seriousness of its content.
I am currently moving, involuntarily, from the stage of political jihad to the stage of intellectual jihad, despite the fact that I have not recovered from the previous stage and the distortion, accusations of treason and insults I have been subjected to for eight years, since announcing my joining the revolution in the events of Mohamed Mahmoud in November 2011 until now.
The next stage is a turning point in my entire life, as the accusations directed at me in the past of treason, collaboration, and other accusations that you know will be changed to a stage in which I will be accused of completely different accusations, as I will be accused in the next stage of disbelief, misguidance, and other accusations that are only known to God Almighty.
Changing a religious belief that has been prevalent among Muslims for centuries will not be changed by just one book written by a man like me. This requires a very long time and effort, commensurate with the length of time this belief has been in existence, which has become like the sixth pillar of Islam, and which is not permissible to discuss or interpret.
Suffice it to say that I discussed this belief of mine with an Al-Azhar Sheikh in a simple manner for only a quarter of an hour, and he declared me an infidel and said to me: \u201cI have thus entered a stage of disbelief in the religion of Islam.\u201d
Another man read the first two chapters of my book, The Awaited Letters, and found no response opposing what I had written. However, he stopped reading the book and told me, \u201cNone of our scholars have said what you say, and with this book I will ignite strife among Muslims.\u201d An Al-Azhar graduate who read my book asked to debate me on satellite channels.
Another woman, as soon as she read the first two chapters of my book, was convinced of my point of view and said that I was right.
When I tried to submit my book to publishing houses for printing and distribution, the first publishing house refused to print and distribute it due to the seriousness of its content. However, the second publishing house welcomed printing and distribution. The same happened when I tried to review the book linguistically. The first linguistic reviewer refused to review the book as soon as he took a quick look at the content. However, the second linguistic reviewer agreed to work on it and reviewed it linguistically.
As for my family, I have only disclosed the contents of my book to two members of my family. One of them was convinced by my opinion with a brief explanation of the book\u2019s contents and without reading the book. The other person fears temptation for himself and does not want to read the book for fear of being convinced by my opinion because he does not want to contradict the belief that has been prevalent among Muslims for centuries, despite the fact that I presented him with all the evidence and proofs and tried to convince him for six months.
This is a microcosm of all the people who will hear and read my book (The Awaited Messages). Some of them will disbelieve in me and accuse me of misguidance without reading my book. Some of them will read my book and accuse me of causing strife. Some of them will read my book and will not change their minds so as to continue walking with the caravan. Few of the people will be convinced by my book after reading it with the aim of arriving at the truth.
This book of mine will fulfill the interpretation of part of the vision of the book and the verse {So wait, for they are waiting} in that I completed writing the book to the end until it was printed and delivered to the libraries, and what remains is the fulfillment of the other part of the vision of the occurrence of the first third of the chapters of this book and the verse of the clear smoke. This is despite the fact that I did not want to continue writing this book and I expected that no publishing house or printing press would accept to print and distribute my book, but what I did not expect happened and my book was printed in the end and will be distributed.
The interpretation of the vision of marrying the Virgin Mary will also be realized in a significant change in my religious beliefs during my lifetime, and because of that I will face severe and unbearable opposition. The interpretation of that vision has been realized, and I have begun to be accused of blasphemy. I do not know what will happen when my book is distributed.
My grandfather, Sheikh Abdel Muttal Al-Saidi, faced a lot of trouble at the hands of Al-Azhar because he endeavored to present religious ideas that were far less restrictive than what I will address in my book, "The Awaited Letters." I don't know whether what is happening to me is a family tradition or not. No member of my grandfather's family has experienced anything similar to what I have experienced and what will continue to experience.
Therefore, I dedicate my book, The Awaited Letters, to my grandfather, Sheikh Abdul Muttal Al-Saidi, whom I wished to be with me now, so that he could stand by me in the troubles I will face similar to those he faced before.
All I ask of you, especially those who know me well,
Don't rush to judge me until you read my book impartially and without preconceived notions. What I discuss in my book will be confirmed by events when the major signs of the Hour occur, whether in our time or in the time of our grandchildren.
