I am proud of my affiliation with the armed forces, and I have not and will not submit my resignation, whatever the reasons, unless my services are dispensed with.
I still believe that I will never be more than an officer in the armed forces, waiting for the day when I will fight to liberate the captive Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Even if my services were dispensed with and war broke out between us and Israel, I would not hesitate one day to volunteer, even to be a soldier, in order to participate in the defense of Egypt.
Just because I once participated in presenting a political point of view does not mean that I want to be a politician. Rather, I believe that the noblest and most honorable profession is to be a soldier prepared to die for the sake of God and the nation.

O Allah, grant me martyrdom in Your cause on the threshold of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
