How beautiful it is to contribute to the smile of an orphan child
How wonderful it is to help a poor widow.
I would be happy to contribute my free time to do good.
There is no shame in carrying aid and delivering it myself to those who deserve it.
I am not embarrassed to do these things as I am an army officer. This is my duty towards orphans and the poor.
How I wished to strive in the way of God, which I failed to achieve, until I heard the hadith of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
(He who strives on behalf of the widow, the orphan, and the needy is like one who strives in the cause of Allah, fasting during the day and praying at night.)
So my striving for the widow and the poor was the struggle that I had hoped for.
Thank God, I have been honored by Dr. Sherif Abdel Azim, founder of the Resala Charity Association, for the second time, for receiving the title of Ideal Volunteer for the Resala branch in 6th of October City for the “Mashwar Al Khair” project.
This is the best certificate I have received, and I do not brag about it in front of you, nor do I feel conceited, but I hope that even one of you will volunteer in any charitable organization, so that I may receive the reward for his volunteering, for the one who guides to good is like the one who does it.
As for what is said that Risala is affiliated with a political faction and that the distribution of donations through it has a political purpose, I testify that I have been a volunteer with Risala for several years and that I did not notice what is said about it and that I am proud to work among these people who donate their efforts and time for the sake of orphans, the poor, widows, the elderly, the blind and other charitable works without any compensation.
