The author of this comment was the most honest in his criticism of my book The Awaited Letters.
He stated directly why he did not accept my opinion without beating around the bush.
He did not say like others that he contradicted the consensus of scholars or denied a matter that is known by necessity or that this is what we found our fathers doing. Rather, he said with utmost frankness and clarity: How do we take our belief from an ordinary person who is not a religious scholar or an Al-Azhar graduate?
This is the real reason why most of you do not accept what is in my book.
Do not be too proud to say this truth that is in your souls
I challenge you and I say to you, if Sheikh Al-Shaarawy were among us now and said as you said, that our master Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is not the Seal of the Messengers, and he came to you with the same evidence that I came to you with from the Qur’an and Sunnah, then I assure you that you would have applauded and cheered for him and would not have said to him as you said to me, that I contradict the consensus of scholars or how we take our belief from you or that you deny something that is known from the religion by necessity.
This is the truth in your hearts regarding my opinion, so there is no need to say otherwise.
