Apologising for an error in the book Riyadh al-Sunnah

January 15, 2020

If any of you brothers or sisters bought my book (Riyadh as-Sunnah min Sahih al-Kutub al-Sittahah), you will find that I have included the hadith that I later discovered to be incorrect: “The message and prophethood have ended, so there is no messenger or prophet after me” on page 336. I was just like you, I believed that the Prophet ﷺ is the Seal of the Prophets and the Seal of the Messengers as well. I finished my book (Riyadh as-Sunnah min Sahih al-Kutub al-Sittahah) on April 24, 2019, just a few weeks before I read Surah ad-Dukhan and interpreted it in a different way and discovered that Allah would send a new messenger who would warn us of the punishment of smoke.
When I included this hadith, I relied on it being authentic based on what Sheikh Al-Albani said, but I made a mistake because I did not verify the authenticity of the hadith at the time. I believed that it was a clear and comprehensive hadith, beyond reproach, and there was no doubt about its authenticity.
It is not a shame to make a mistake, but the shame is to be stubborn and continue making mistakes after I reach the truth
Praise be to God, I published this error in my book (The Awaited Messages) after that, and I mentioned a lot of evidence that clarifies the invalidity of this hadith that scholars rely on, that our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is not only the Seal of the Prophets and his Sharia is the final one, as stated in the Qur’an and Sunnah, but he is also the Seal of the Messengers, and this is what I pointed out in this previous article.

My sincere apologies for this mistake to those who bought my book (Riyadh as-Sunnah from the Sahih al-Kutub as-Sittah)
