Makkah Clock Tower is one of the signs of the hour
The design and painting of the Prophet's Mosque is now a sign of the hour

1- The height of the building on top of Mount Abu Qubais in Mecca

In the well-known hadith of Gabriel, when he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the Hour, he said, "Tell me about its signs." He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "That the slave woman will give birth to her mistress, and that you will see barefoot, naked, and destitute shepherds competing in building tall buildings." Narrated by Muslim.

On the authority of Abd al-Razzaq, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: If you see a building rising towards Abu Qubays and water running in the valley, then be on your guard.
Narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in Al-Musannaf: Ghundar narrated to us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Ya’la ibn Ata’, on the authority of his father, who said: I was holding the reins of Abdullah ibn Amr’s mount when he said: “What will you do when you demolish the Kaaba, not leaving one stone upon another?!” They said: “And we are Muslims?” He said: “And you are Muslims.” He said: “Then what?” He said: “Then it will be rebuilt better than it was. So when you see Makkah filled with calamities and you see the buildings rising to the tops of the mountains, then know that the matter has come to you.”
And his saying: (And the water flowed in the valley) meaning that great trenches were dug and excavated like wells connected by channels. And God knows best, these are the enormous tunnels that became a network between the mountains of Mecca, or the trenches for the sewers, electricity, and air conditioning that are brought from vast distances. This is the meaning of his saying (And the water flowed in the valley)
Al-Azraqi narrated in his book, Akhbar Makkah, on the authority of Yusuf ibn Mahak, who said: I was sitting with Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, may God be pleased with them both, in a corner of the Sacred Mosque, when he looked at a house overlooking Abu Qubays. He said: Is that the case? I said: Yes. He said: When you see its houses rise above their wooden floors and rivers gush forth from their valleys, then the matter is near.
Abdul Razzaq, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, who said: If you see a building rising towards Abu Qubais and water running in the valley, then be careful.

Abu Qubays is a mountain on the eastern side of the Grand Mosque. It is approximately 420 meters high. It is said that it was named thus because a man called Abu Qubays was the first to build on it. He was a man from the Jurhum tribe, and he was called “Abu Qubays ibn Salih.” He fled to the mountain, so the mountain was named after him.

A tower was built to hold a clock for Mecca time, with a height of 595 metres. Thus, its height exceeds the height of Mount Abu Qubais by about 135 metres.

2- The Prophet’s Mosque (The White Palace)

Ahmad narrated in his Musnad and Al-Hakim in Al-Mustadrak that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) addressed the people and said: The Day of Salvation, and what is the Day of Salvation? Three times. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the Day of Salvation? He said: The Antichrist will come and ascend Uhud, then he will look at the city and say to his companions: Do you not see this white palace? This is the Mosque of Ahmad? Then he will come to the city and find at every pass of it an angel drawing his hands. Then he will come to the lap of the cliff and shake the portico of the city three times, and there will not remain a hypocrite, male or female, praiseworthy man or woman, except that he will go out to him, and the city will be saved, and that is the Day of Salvation. A sound hadith according to the criteria of Muslim.
Look at the shape of the Prophet’s Mosque, you will find it really is like a white palace. When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said these words, his mosque was made of mud bricks, its roof was made of palm fronds, and its pillars were made of palm trunks. Glory be to God, whoever sees the mosque today will see it as if it were a white palace.

We are then on the threshold of the major signs of the Hour, including the appearance of the Antichrist and other great events.
We ask God Almighty to make us steadfast and grant us victory.
